The solder pads are every 1cm and both sides so just trim to length and insulate any unused pads with kapton tape. The pads are spaced 2mm pitch so it’s possible to solder direct to a board with 2mm pitch pads direct

Suggested use is to use a fine wire 24-28g for the final connection to the board or device. We like teflon insulated wire
